Indian Army recruitment 2017: The 27 Mtn Div Ord Unit, C/o 99 APO of the Indian Army under Ministry of Defence has announced 25 vacancies for the post of Tradesman Mate. Candidates who all are willing to apply must note that the last date to submit the application form is December 2, 2017. Candidates must note that they will have to send the application form to 27 Mtn Div Ord Unit, C/o 99 APO before the last date. “Candidates will forward application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for, through ordinary post/Registered post/Speed post, ” the official notification reads. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification requirements does not automatically entitle a person to be called for test/interviews. The selection will be made strictly on the merit basis, the notification further stated.

The application form can be downloaded online or can be availed from the nearest books store. Candidates must note that the self attested copies of documents like Education qualification certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Caste certificate where applicable, Caste certificate where applicable, Photocopy of Discharge certificate (for Ex-servicemen candidates only), Certificates Awarded by the specified authorities (for Meritorious sports persons), Aadhar Card and PAN Card will have to be submitted with application.

Earlier, in another recruitment notification, the 629 Tpt Coy ASC of the Ministry of Defence has invited applications to fill the vacancies of Group ‘C’ posts. Candidates who are interested should apply before November 25, 2017. According to the official notification, the vacancies have been announced for 18 posts including Chef, Fireman, Fire Supervisor and others. The job notification read that the candidates will have to undergo both physical test and written test. “Physical test/trade test (Not applicable for Ex-Servicemen) will be qualifying nature. Only those candidates who qualify for physical/trade test will be permitted to appear in written test. Candidates will be disqualified immediately for failing to qualify any of the event given below and will not be permitted to appear in next event/subsequent tests. The candidates will be immediately escorted out of unit premises/test venue, ” the notification reads.
