Are you facing problems regarding your flight tickets refund? Has your refund not done fairly? The Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha has the solution for you. Shina today tweeted and asked people to file their complaints on airseva app or www.airsewa.gov.in for quick redressals. He tweeted: “Looking for appropriate refunds for problems related to air travel? File your complaint on https://www.airsewa.gov.in for quick redressals.”
The app launched on November 25 last year has already resolved issues of many harried air travelers. The app can also help travelers to know flight details, airport information, and other FAQs. Earlier, during the launch, Sinha said that refunds, flight delays, long queues and lack of proper facilities at airports and complaints of lost baggage were the most common problems that air travelers faced. He added that AirSewa was an attempt to provide such a systematic approach to redressing passenger grievances, as per Hindustan Times.
The passenger can register their grievances through the mobile app or a web portal. The travelers can also upload audio or video clips along with an elaborate description of the complaint. A unique reference number would be given to each complainant. For getting the feedback from the user, an option to rate the overall experience and satisfaction is also available. The aviation ministry has also appointed Nodal officers to address the grievances raised. Sinha has on many occasions used Twitter to resolve consumer grievances. Passengers tweet their grievance to the minister and he re-tweets them to the airline or airport concerned, to get it resolved.
