India Inc reported strong order inflows across defence, renewables, and EVs this week. While Swan Defence won a Rs 2,080 crore European shipbuilding contract, renewable energy player Satvik Green received an order from a power company. 

Rays Power, KP Green and Jupiter secured solar and energy projects worth over Rs 2,200 crore. EV maker A-1 Sureja added fresh two-wheeler orders, boosting order books during the reporting period.

BEL defence order

Indian PSUBharat Electronics, announced that it had received orders worth Rs 610 crore across the aerospace and defence segments on Friday.

This marks the third order win for the Navratna defence PSU in January. As per the company’s regulatory filing, the consideration for these additional orders stands at Rs 610 crore.

BEL has bagged orders across various sectors, including communication equipment, medical electronics, thermal imagers, jammers, spares, and services.

Swan Defence

Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (SDHI) on Friday has bagged a Rs 2,080 crore contract from Europe-based Rederiet Stenersen AS.

The company has received the order to manufacture and supply six 18,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage) IMO Type II chemical tankers from its shipyard in Pipavav, Gujarat.

The contract includes an option for six additional vessels. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery within 33 months, with subsequent deliveries planned at regular intervals. Each tanker will have an overall length of approximately 150 metres and a beam of approximately 23 metres. The vessels will be designed by Marinform AS and StoGda Ship Design & Engineering and classed by DNV.

Ray Power

Rays Power Infra received an award for a 300 MW renewable energy project from a public sector undertaking (PSU). This project will add Rs 1,912 crore to the company’s existing order book, bringing it to over Rs 8,000 crore.

The project will utilise modules manufactured using solar cells sourced from Rays Power’s upcoming cell manufacturing facility under its subsidiary, Rays Green Energy, which is currently under construction in Madhya Pradesh.

KP Green

KP Green Engineering on Tuesday secured orders worth Rs 248.2 crore across several business verticals.

The orders include a Rs 33.6 crore order for fixed-tilt module mounting structures, the supply of tracker-type module mounting structures and structure parts for solar projects, as well as transmission towers worth Rs 53 crore.

It has also received an order worth Rs 107.9 crore for a crash barrier for railway track fencing and has bagged a contract to supply fabricated structural components worth Rs 48.9 crore.

Satvik Green

Saatvik Green Energy secured a solar module supply order worth Rs 10.15 crore. The company said the order has been placed by an independent power producer. The order will be executed by February 2026.

With the receipt of these confirmed orders, the company’s aggregate confirmed orders declared during the month stand at approximately Rs 1,067.2 crore. These orders are tentatively scheduled to be executed by the end of the financial year, March 31, 2026.

A-1

EV player A-1 Sureja Industries on Monday received two orders for 1,425 low-speed electric two-wheelers. The first order has been received from Zipnova Enterprise LLP, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) for the supply of 525 low-speed electric motorcycles.

The second purchase order has been awarded by Aayushman Engineering, Noida for 900 low-speed electric two-wheelers.

The company said this further strengthens A-1 Sureja Industries’ order book and underscores the growing market acceptance of its electric vehicle offerings, particularly in the affordable, low-speed EV segment.

Jupiter

Jupiter International secured a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) on Monday, worth Rs 64.95 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company for the manufacture, supply and maintenance of off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.

The project also marks Kolkata-based Jupiter International’s entry into the solar pump segment, expanding its clean energy portfolio beyond solar manufacturing. The company said securing the solar pump order worth about Rs 65 crore from MSEDCL was a critical step in its journey.
