Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev led Patanjali has now forayed into the online world. Yes, now, you can buy Patanjali products online. The indigenous FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) giant has cracked deals with the major e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm and others. While announcing the online presence of Patanjali products, Baba Ramdev said that Patanjali has now reached from ‘Haridwar to Har Dwar’ (from the city of Haridwar to every doorstep). Explaining the reason behind going online, Baba Ramdev explained that he and Acharya Balakrishnan (Patanjali MD) has millions of followers in the virtual world and Patanjali is among the most searched online brands. He also informed that the FMCG brand witnessed a hike of Rs 10 crores in the sales-growth, in December, last year.

At the occasion, Baba Ramdev also informed that Patanjali will soon establish a production unit in Noida. He expressed his wish to conquer the global market within few years.

Recently, Patanjali had forayed into kids and adult diapers and affordable sanitary napkins segments. Last month, it had also announced to venturing into solar equipment manufacturing. Besides FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) segment, Patanjali Ayurved is present in other sectors such as education and healthcare. In 2016-17, it had crossed a turnover of Rs 10,500 crore and aims a two-fold growth this fiscal.

A day before (January 15), Nagaland State Chief Minister, TR Zeliang announced a slew of investments made by the Patanjali Group in the state. Founder of Patanjali, a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with estimated revenue of 1.7 billion US dollars, Swami Ramdev with close aide Bal Krishna Acharya were present during the programmes to announce these projects.
