Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL), along with its joint venture, has secured new orders worth approximately Rs 719 crore for an elevated metro rail project in Thane, Maharashtra.

Kalpataru Projects International is an EPC player in the power transmission and distribution (T&D) and civil infrastructure sectors.

“The elevated metro rail order in Thane has strengthened our presence in the growing urban transportation EPC business, reinforcing our confidence in the growth potential of our urban infrastructure business in India,” Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO of KPIL, said in the BSE release.

“Our strong order intake, diversified order book, and robust execution place us favourably to deliver on our growth targets in the coming quarters,” Mohnot added.

Kalpataru Projects International engages in Power Transmission & Distribution, Buildings & Factories, Water Supply & Irrigation, Railways, Oil & Gas Pipelines, Urban Mobility (Flyovers & Metro Rail), Highways and Airports. 

Kalpataru Projects secures Rs 2,003 crore new orders

Before this the company, had secured new orders of approximately Rs 2,003 crores. The orders included contracts in the Buildings and Factories (B&F) business in India, as well as projects in the power transmission and distribution segment across India and overseas markets.

Kalpataru Projects International Q2FY26

In its Q2FY26 released on October 31, the company said it received new orders worth Rs 14,951 crore in FY26 year-to-date, reflecting approximately 26% YoY growth. It said that KPIL is also favourably placed for additional orders worth around Rs 5,000 crore, mainly in the power T&D segment. The consolidated order book stood at Rs 64,682 crore as of September 30, 2025.

Kalpataru reported a 89% YoY jump in Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 237 crore during the quarter.
