Thiruvananthapuram airport officials announced on Saturday that starting February 7, all Air India domestic flights, currently utilising the International Terminal (T-2) at the airport, will be relocated to the domestic terminal (T-1) at Shanghumugham.

Currently, Air India’s New Delhi and Mumbai services are functioning from the T-2 International Terminal at Chackai.

“All these services will be operating from domestic terminal T-1 at Shanghumugham from February 7. The departure and arrival of these services will be operated from T-1. There is no change in the timings of the services,” the authority said in a release. HOwever, the authorities added that all other airlines’ services will continue as usual.

Air India’s ‘Namaste World’ sale

Air India announced its ‘Namaste World’ sale on February 2.The limited-period offer is available from February 2 to February 5. Under the offer, economy class rates commence at just Rs 1799 for domestic routes and Rs 3899 for international destinations. For domestic routes, Business Class fares start at an attractive Rs 10,899.

The offer can be availed for the travel period – February 2 to September 30. Seating is limited, and allocation is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
