The Union Public Service Commission has declared Civil Services Examination, 2016. The final results, declared after examining candidate under written and personality test, have been uploaded on Press Information Bureau’s official website. Nandini KR topped the examination, while Anmol Sher Singh Bedi and G Ronanki got second and third positions respectively, ANI reported. ”

The written exam was held in 2016, while the Personality Test was conducted in March-May, 2017. After the exam, the UPSC has now declared the names of aspirants to be appointed as country’s upcoming Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ officers.
A total number of 1099 candidates have been recommended for appointment. As per a PIB release, the appointment to the various Services will be made according to the number of vacancies available. Currently, 1209 vacancies are vacant opposite the appointment of 1099 candidates.
UPSC has a “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall on its campus. The candidates who wish to obtain any information/clarification regarding their examinations/recruitments can reach out to the facilitation counter between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The candidates can even call on the number the given number: 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543. The results can be checked on the UPSC website i.e. http//www.upsc.gov.in or at Press Information Bureau’s website where they shared a press release, interlinking the results inside. As per PIB, marks will be made available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of Result.
