Yogi Adityanath Kerala Visit LIVE Updates: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah who is in Kerala to protest against the ‘murder of party workers’ will be joined by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today in Kannur. The rally that began on Tuesday, will pass through the state of Kerala before concluding at Thiruvananthapuram on October 17 where Amit Shah will address the public. According to Indian Express, Shah during his three-day rally is expected to make a pitch for BJP in the state which has been completely out of its reach thus far. On Tuesday, the BJP intensified its attack against the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government with attacks on “ruling CPM’s murder politics.” Challenging CM Pinaray Vijayan, Shah said the “bloodstains of those 84 RSS/BJP workers killed in Kannur are on your clothes.”
Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in an interview with Asianet News while talking about Amit Shah’s Jan Yatra said, “The people of Kerala have always had a broader vision. Not acceptable to insult Kerala on the basis of random incidents, we will oppose any such move that wrongly shows us in a bad light to the rest of the country.”
