TN SSLC September / October 2017 Exam: The Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination hall ticket will be available for download on the official website of Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) at dge.tn.gov.in soon. Candidates who have registered to appear for the examination can download their hall ticket once the admit card link has been activated by the directorate, according to a notice issued. Candidates are required to use their application number and date of birth, to download their hall tickets. the Directorate has also suggested them to keep the information in hand to avoid last minute rush, the report added. The exam will begin from September 25, after the science practical exam is completed. The science practicals will be held between September 18-20.

When appearing for the exam, candidates will be given ten minutes to read question papers, five minutes will be reserved for verification of candidates. The SSLC exam will be held between 9:30 AM-12 Noon. The exam will start with Tamil (Paper 1). Exams for mathematics and science will be held on October 3 and 4 respectively. The Tamil Nadu SSLC September/ October 2017 exam will finish on October 6 with Optional Language paper, according to an NDTV report.

Earlier in the year, the SSLC class 10 supplementary exams results were announced by DGE in the month of July. More than 9.33 lakh students had appeared for the class 10 board exams in Tamil Nadu which were conducted in March. 94.4 per cent students had passed the exam. Girls with passing percentage of 94.5 percent did better than boys whose passing percentage was 89.3 percent, the paper added. Those students who could not clear the main exam appeared for the supplementary or re-appear exams in June, Indian Express said.
