Big week for investors in terms of corporate action to watch out for. Between June 23 and June 28, 33 companies from banking giants to FMCG stalwarts and industrial majors are set to execute key corporate actions, including dividend payouts, stock splits, and bonus share issues.

Upcoming dividend this week

A total of 33 companies have lined up dividend payouts this week with some of them offering final, interim, or even special dividends. Big names like HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Cipla, Vedanta, Bajaj Finserv, and Polycab India are among the most-watched.

HUL (Hindustan Unilever) is offering a final dividend of Rs 24 per share, with June 23 as the record date.

HDFC Bank joins the payout parade with a Rs 22 dividend per share, effective June 27.

Cipla will distribute a Rs 13 final and an additional Rs 3 special dividend, making it one of the few with a double-payout.

Polycab India is rewarding shareholders with a Rs 35 per share, ex-date June 24.

Swaraj Engines leads the payout chart with a dividend of Rs 104.50 per share, scheduled for June 27.

Maharashtra Scooters is also not far behind, declaring Rs 30 final and Rs 30 special dividend, totaling Rs 60 per share.

It is important to note that under India’s T+1 settlement cycle, the ex-dividend date and record date now coincide. This means one must buy the stock at least one trading day prior to the record date to be eligible.

Bonus issue this week

This week also brings bonus issues from two companies

V-Mart Retail will issue 3 bonus shares for every 1 share held, effective June 23.

Investment & Precision Castings will reward shareholders with a 1:1 bonus issue, doubling the share count in eligible demat accounts on June 27.

Split action this week

Here are the key splits lined up –

Laddu Gopal Online Services will conduct a 1:5 split (from Rs 10 to Rs 2 face value) on June 24.

Elitecon International will reduce its face value from Rs 10 to Rs 1 on June 25.

Padam Cotton Yarns will also implement a 1:10 stock split on June 27.
