Indian equity indices opened Tuesday’s trading session on a higher note. The NSE Nifty 50 opened 64 points or 0.26% higher at 24,699. The BSE Sensex opened 279 points or 0.35% higher at 80,643.
The Bank Nifty opened 279 points or 0.51% higher at 54,740. Similarly, the small and midcap stocks opened the day higher. The Nifty Midcap rose 177 points or 0.31% to open at 56,710.
“The near-term market structure appears weak. Sustained FII selling and the absence of positive triggers are preventing any strong recovery in the market. Any attempt to climb up is facing selling pressure. This is evident from the negative closing yesterday despite the positive institutional inflow of above Rs 1,000 crore,” said VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Investments.
Let’s take a look at the key factors to watch out for today’s trading session
