The voter turnout for the Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai was 44% in Mumbai South, 46.91% in Mumbai North, 49.7% in Mumbai North West, 48.6% in Mumbai North East, 47.46% in Mumbai North Central, and 48.2% in Mumbai South Central.

The voter turnout was the lowest in Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency, with many “slow pace" of voting process in Mumbai.

The region saw a high-profile contest, primarily between candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the INDIA bloc.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal is contesting from Mumbai North against Congress's Bhushan Patil. In Mumbai North Central, BJP's Advocate Ujwal Nikam faces Congress's Varsha Eknath Gaikwad. Mumbai North West sees a battle between Shiv Sena factions: Ravindra Wairkar (Eknath Shinde faction) and Amol Gajanan Kirtikar (Uddhav Thackeray faction).

In Mumbai North East, BJP's Mihir Kotecha is up against Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Sanjaydina Patil. South Central features a contest between Ramesh Shewele (Shiv Sena) and Anil Desai (Shiv Sena UBT). Arvind Sawant (Shiv Sena UBT) seeks a third term in Mumbai South, challenged by Yamini Jadhav (Eknath Shinde faction).
