India’s energy and infrastructure space saw a flurry of fresh order wins this week. From KPIL’s large international projects and Solarworld’s BESS order to multiple solar pump contracts under PM-KUSUM and renewals in attestation services, order wins crossed Rs 3,632.78 crore.
KPIL Secures new contracts worth Rs 2,003 crore
Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) was in focus as the company along with its international subsidiaries secured new orders worth approximately Rs 2,003 crore.
The project span across its Buildings & Factories (B&F) and Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) businesses in India and overseas.
With these order wins the company’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake stands around Rs 17,000 crore.
The Kalpataru Projects International share price closed in green for the week, up 0.61% at Rs 1,171.65 per share.
Solarworld Energy wins Rs 806 crore order
Solarworld Energy Solutions secured Rs 806 crore battery energy storage order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam on December 9.
The Project is to develop 200 MW/400 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Gujarat, signing the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement on December 8. The company said in its regulatory filing that the contract will be executed over the coming years.
The Solarworld Energy Solutions share price closed in red for the week, down 0.05% at Rs287.10 per share.
Two solar orders by MSEDCL
This week also marked by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) awarding two major solar pump projects on Thursday, December 11, to different identities. The project was awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, part of the PM-KUSUM B Scheme.
Shakti Pumps wins Rs 443.78 crore order
Shakti Pumps bagged Rs 443.78 crore order to supply and install 16,025 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP across the state. The contract includes design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning, with the entire project to be completed within 60 days of the work order.
The Shakti Pumps (India) share price closed in red for the week, down 8.5% at Rs 649.70 per share.
Oswal Pumps secures Rs 380 Crore solar contract
Meanwhile, Oswal Pumps received a Rs 380 crore order to design, manufacture, supply, install and commission 13,738 off-grid solar PV water pumping systems under the same scheme. The package covers pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP, and includes testing, commissioning, a five-year warranty, maintenance and remote monitoring. Each installation must be completed within 60 days of receiving approval, while the overall project is expected to be executed within a year.
The Oswal Pumps (India) share price closed in green for the week, up 1.33% at Rs 527.60 per share.
BLS International Gets Contract Renewal for MEA Attestation
BLS International Services has secured the renewal of its contract with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to continue providing attestation and apostille services across 17 major centres in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The potential revenue from the contract was not mentioned in the regulatory filing.
Under the extended agreement, the company will handle authentication of educational, non-educational and commercial documents — essential for legal recognition abroad — reinforcing its role in supporting Indians travelling, working or studying overseas.
The BLS International Services share price closed in red for the week, down 3.91% at Rs 319.60 per share.
Tejas Networks Wins Key Routing Contracts
Tejas Networks wins 7 BharatNet packages, The order was for IP routing equipment under 7 of the 12 BharatNet Phase-III packages till date.
Under the project, the company will deploy over 50,000 indigenously designed TJ1400 routers across 57,000 gram panchayats and 2,000 blocks in nine states and five union territories, helping build a robust middle-mile network to expand high-speed connectivity in rural India.
The Tejas Networks share price closed in red for the week, down 3.01% at Rs 479.35 per share.
