Tech major Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with Vodafone Idea to transform the telecom company’s business support system through an AI-driven platform. In an exchange filing, TCS said on Thursday that the company has partnered with Vodafone Idea for a period of five years.
The IT company said that the partnership will help Vodafone Idea to unlock new capabilities in customer experience by deploying a next-gen platform focused on intelligence, automation, personalisation and accelerated launch of new products and services.
Ujjwal Mathur, President & Country Head – India Business, TCS, said that while the transformation program for Vodafone Idea is built on 15 years of relationship with TCS, the latest initiative marks a pivotal step in driving AI-led transformation of Vi’s core Business Support System.

TCS said that the transformation will be anchored on its flagship products, TCS HOBS and TCS TwinX.
TCS added that through a combination of robust processes and systems of TCS HOBS along with TCS TwinX, the unified platform will accelerate service delivery, ensure resilient performance, and provide flexibility to adapt quickly to evolving customer needs.

Vodafone Idea’s partnership with TCS for enhancing its digital infrastructure is seen as a key development as the telecom major accelerates its 4G and 5G rollout in the country.
Vodafone Idea Q1 highlights
In the first quarter of FY26, Vodafone Idea reported a 4.8 per cent revenue growth. The company reported a revenue of Rs 11,022 crore in Q1 FY26 against a revenue of Rs 10,508 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
While VI posted a moderate revenue growth in Q1, its losses widened to Rs 6,608 crore in the quarter.
