Our priorities are to first ensure that our recently launched Punjabi GEC, Just TV Punjabi is distributed well across platforms. We will concentrate on the international distribution of the same, for which we have already begun talks with players. Then we have initiated talks with production houses and producers to enter movie making initially in Punjabi and later for Bollywood. We will follow it up with the launch of another channel by the end of this financial year, said Rajendra Karnik, chairman, Just TV.
Asked how the total sum raised will be utilised in different verticals, Karnik suggested that according to a rough estimate, around 25% will be spent in the operational costs of the recently launched Punjabi channel and in the Punjabi GEC international distribution of the Punjabi channel in the USA, the UK and Canada, about 25% will be routed to the launch of another channel and approximately 40 to 50% will be invested in movie production business.
