The Union Cabinet has approved a new metro corridor connecting Koteshwar Road and Ahmedabad Airport, costing ₹2,169 crore. The project will be completed in four years and provide direct access to the airport, reducing travel time and easing traffic congestion. This will expand the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar metro network to 77.63 km.
