Following in the footsteps of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea (Vi) is set to raise tariffs on both prepaid and postpaid plans from July 4. The impending price hike ranges from 11-24 percent across various plans. This move aims to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU), allowing the telecom company to enhance its existing 4G services and roll out 5G for its subscribers through significant investments over the next few quarters.
“In line with its commitment to provide its consumers with simple and comprehensive plans, Vi has curated an optimum range of feature-rich plans to meet the diverse needs of its consumers,” Vodafone Idea stated about the price hike. The company added that “staying true to its philosophy of supporting entry-level users and progressively linking higher prices to increased usage, changes in entry-level plans are nominal.”

Unlimited voice calling plans
Entry-level plan: The Rs 179 plan, offering 2GB data, unlimited calling, 300 SMS, and 28-day validity, has been increased to Rs 199.
84-day plan: The Rs 459 plan, including 6GB data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS, will now cost Rs 509.
365-day plan: The Rs 1,799 plan, with 24GB data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS, has been raised to Rs 1,999.

28-day 1.5GB/day plan: The Rs 299 plan, offering unlimited data (12 am to 6 am), weekend data rollover, data delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS/day, will now cost Rs 349.
1-month 2GB/day plan: The Rs 319 plan, with the same benefits, will be priced at Rs 379.
56-day 1.5GB/day plan: Previously at Rs 479, this plan, which includes unlimited data (12 am to 6 am), weekend data rollover, data delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS/day, will now be Rs 579.
56-day 2GB/day plan: The Rs 539 plan will be increased to Rs 649.
Longer duration plans
84-day 1.5GB/day plan: Previously at Rs 719, this plan will now cost Rs 859.
84-day 2GB/day plan: The Rs 839 plan will be increased to Rs 979.
365-day 1.5GB/day plan: The Rs 2,899 plan will now cost Rs 3,499.
