Google has rolled out its second generation Gemini AI model. Starting with a bunch of new updates, Gemini 2.0 is all set to roll out to you. Notably, Gemini is Google’s AI tool with advanced features and the aim to make your work easy.
The tech giant claims that Gemini 2.0 is capable of understanding your queries in a better way than its early predecessors. Here’s a detailed look at what the AI agent could bring for you.

According to an official blog, Gemini 2.0 model features advancements in multimodality. It has the usual audio and image output mode, along with new tools, and can also offer more functionalities.
So, what are the benefits which you can get from the latest version of the Agentic AI. Gemini 2.0 will support multimodal inputs such as video, images and audio. You also have multimodal outputs. This includes natively generated mixed text, images and multilingual text-to-speech audio. Additionally, Gemini 2.0 Flash can also use other tools such as user-defined functions, Google Search and execute code.
The tech giant further said that Gemini 2.0 as of now it will be rolled out for developers and “trusted testers”. The AI agent will soon be integrated into products starting with Google Search and Gemini. However, an experimental Gemini 2.0 Flash model is available to all users. You can get them on the web version of Gemini AI. The app integration is expected to come soon.
Other key updates
Apart from the above mentioned features, Google has also introduced a feature named Deep Research. This mode uses advanced long-context and reasoning capabilities to work as a research assistant. The feature is capable of exploring complex topics and compiling reports on your behalf. Google is also testing the Gemini 2.0 model in Search’s AI Overviews for some limited users.
Looking ahead, Gemini 2.0 Flash will be the first publicly available model in the Gemini 2.0 series. Google also claimed that it is the workhorse of the series and can offer you low latency. Furthermore, the new model can be described as, “If Gemini 1.0 was about organising and understanding information, Gemini 2.0 is about making it much more useful,” Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai highlighted.
