Yash, popularly known for his role as Rocky Bhai in KGF, is headlining his own film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups. Celebrating his 40th birthday today, Toxic stands up to Ranveer Singh’s mega-blockbuster Dhurandhar with its sequel also set to release in March 2026. However, Yash’s mass appeal and Toxic’s global dominance will give stiff competition to the sequel of India’s biggest film.
With a reported net worth of over Rs 50 crore, the millionaire superstar Yash is known for his extravagant purchases and lavish lifestyle. Yash also has an array of brand endorsements and is estimated to charge nearly Rs 20 cr per film. He is also set to star alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari‘s Ramayana trilogy.
How Yash built a million-dollar empire
Yash, a young aspirant of filmmaking, left home at 16 to work as an assistant director. While the project failed, he joined as a backstage assistant to earn nearly $50 a day. With a background in journalism and psychology, he found his break in 2004 with a role in Uttarayana, a TV series.
Moving into the Kannada film industry, Yash secured a role in Moggina Manasu four years later. Earning him a Filmfare Award, he received his first title as the Best Supporting Actor. Despite a slight dip with Rocky (2008), he managed to bounce back with Kallara Santhe, Gokula, and Googly. He soon became one of the most popular young faces in Kannada movies.
In 2018, he found a place in KGF Chapter 1. There was no looking back after he became a household name across India. Starring alongside Sanjay Dutt in the sequel, it reigned as the highest-grossing Indian film till Dhurandhar stole the spot. Sharing the profits from some of these big-budget films, Yash garnered over Rs 7 crore annual income, as per estimates. Furthermore, he also endorses leading brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Myntra and Kalyan Jewellers, charging nearly Rs 60 lakh per ad.
Yash: Luxury assets and more
Coming from modest beginnings, Yash owns a lavish duplex in Bengaluru. Located in the Prestige Golf Apartments, Windsor Manor, the Toxic star resides with his wife, Radhika Pandit. The house, estimated to be nearly Rs 4 crore, features high ceilings, wooden accents, and minimalist elegance. Yash’s iconic collection of luxury cars includes his go-to Range Rover, a Mercedes-Benz GLC 250D Coupe, and a Mercedes-Benz GLC 350D. Collectively worth nearly Rs 2 crore, these cars are a reflection of Yash’s extravagant personality and style. Used for travelling with his family, these cars aren’t just practical but also elegant. Yash also owns his own brand, Villain, which makes perfumes for men.
