Nirvaan Birla’s career
After finishing his education, he worked for numerous Yash Birla Group group firms, supplementing his experience by working for diverse organisations like Newby Teas UK, Sapien Capital Limited UK, and Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
When Nirvaan returned to India after completing his schooling overseas, he chose to enter the education sector rather than continuing the family’s conventional manufacturing-based companies. Nirvaan founded Birla Open Minds in 2016. He founded Birla Open Minds Education and grew it to over 140 schools in over 100 cities and 22 states. And in 2019, he founded Birla Brainiacs.
The impact of his bsuiness venture
Over 10,000 students and young people across industries will receive employment training and placement assistance from Nirvaan thanks to partnerships with the Government of Uttarakhand, other NGOs, and organisations like Vedanta Foundation. Along with this, he founded the Birla Teacher Training Academy in partnership with the All India Institute of Early Childhood Care and Education (AIIECCE) to offer teachers across India more effective and comprehensive training.

Ashok and Sunanda Birla welcomed Yash Birla into the world on September 29, 1967 in Mumbai, India. Sujata Birla was his younger sister. Tragically, Yash tragically lost his sister and dad in a terrible accident in 1990.
