Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia has taken on a new wellness challenge, 21 days of getting rid of inflammation in her body using only home remedies. No medicines, no fancy supplements, just ingredients available in your kitchen. The mother of two revealed that she wants to heal her body naturally and avoid relying on medication and will try ‘Ghar ke nuske’ (home remedies) to beat inflammation. Hence, in an Instagram live, she invited dietitian Richa Gangani for guidance, and together, they came up with a simple morning routine that Neha will now follow for three weeks.

The simple recipe from your kitchen

Richa’s remedy is surprisingly easy to make. She advised blending raw turmeric, raw ginger, black peppercorns, and nigella seeds with water, and then freezing the mixture into ice cubes.

“Every morning, take out one cube, add hot water, and stir in a teaspoon of MCT oil. You can use ghee, coconut oil, or olive oil, things that are already in your kitchen,” Richa shared during an Instagram Live with Neha.

Why these ingredients work

This mix advised by Dt. Gangani isn’t just random spices mixed together, infact, there’s actually some science behind it. Turmeric and ginger have long been known as natural inflammation fighters, due to compounds like curcumin in turmeric and gingerols in ginger. Meanwhile, black pepper helps your body absorb turmeric better, making it more effective. Nigella seeds add an antioxidant punch, protecting the body from stress and damage. And the healthy fats whether it’s ghee, coconut oil, or olive oil make sure your body actually absorbs all these nutrients instead of letting them go to waste.

Richa also mentioned in the live chat that MCT oil isn’t some trendy supplement, it’s just a source of good fatty acids. “Whether you use ghee, coconut oil, or olive oil, you’re still getting what your body needs,” she explained.

Why has inflammation become a common problem now

Inflammation is the body’s way of protecting itself, but when it lingers too long, it can lead to issues like joint pain, fatigue, and even chronic diseases. Stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise often make it worse. That’s why many are now looking for natural ways to manage it, just like Neha.

Neha, who often shares snippets of her wellness journey online, is excited to see how her body responds to this natural routine.
