Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 2: The fifth movie in the Housefull franchise is set to create waves at the big screen after a Rs 24 crore opening day collection. Housefull 5, the much awaited sequel’s bold dual-ending strategy has had the internet divided between Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. After touching nearly Rs 3.4 crore on its first Saturday, the Housefull 5 box office collection looks hopeful. The overseas collection gave a competitive edge to the domestic collection, taking the overall worldwide box office collection to Rs 40.75 crore.
The star studded cast has Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, and Nikitin Dheer in key roles. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the formula comedy film has been an addition to the franchise which released 15 years ago in 2010.
Housefull 5 occupancy figures
For the opening day, the highest occupancy rates of more than 40% were observed in Jaipur with high number of audience touching nearly 30% across India. The trend remains the same on Day 2 where Jaipur was the first state to have occupancy rates crossing 25%. Housefull 5A is currently running over 4,000 shows while Housefull B has slightly lower. As a common trend, it was observed that Housefull 5A had higher occupancy rates than the latter on the opening weekend of the Akshay Kumar headliner.
So far. Akshay Kumar’s highest-grossing film has been Housefull 4. With his Kesari 2 released in 2025, Housefull 5 can potentially enter his high-performing films. Similarly for Riteish Deshmukh, his 2025 release of Raid 2 became his second highest-grossing film at the box office followed by Housefull 4.
For the leading ladies in the film, Jacqueline Fernandez’s role in the Housefull franchise on her leaderboard ranks lower. Her best-grossing film, thus, is Kick. Starring opposite Salman Khan, the film made Rs 231 crore during its theatrical run.
