Akshay Kumar’s aviation drama Sky Force has started off successfully and has managed to cross Rs 60 crore in India in the last three days of its release. The film was released on January 24, 2025, and earned profits because of the extended Republic Day weekend, bringing audiences to the theatre with its patriotic theme and a storyline packed with action. The movie co-stars debutant Veer Pahariya. The movie has struck  a chord with the audiences.

On the first day, the movie recorded a strong launch aided by Kumar’s star power and major pre release buzz. Collections climbed on Day 2 because of Republic Day celebrations. By the end of opening day weekend, the film exceeded Rs 60 crore mark, displaying its mass appeal and widespread reach.

As per latest report, Sky Force is performing well in tier-2 and tier -3 cities, where patriotic themes garner more audiences. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 12,25 crore on Day 1 (Friday), on day 2, there was significant surge in the collections upto Rs 22 crores. On day 3 Sunday, a drop in  profits was recorded by earning Rs 12.6 crore and on Day 4, the final reading has not been updated but till now it has gained Rs 0.84 crore.

Sky Force storyline is inspiring and has a backdrop of the Indian Air Force. The movie promises high-octane action sequences along with emotional drama. Akshay Kumar has been praised for his performance whereas debutant Veer Pahariya has also given an impressive act.

As the movie has entered its weekday run, it will need steady collections to maintain its upward earnings. The movie is anticipated to increase its box office collection as there is no major movie line up for an immediate release.
