While Bahubali fans are waiting with bated breath for the latest installment to hit theatres on the last day of October, many silver-screen blockbusters are set for their digital premiere on the same date. In short, coming Friday, movie aficionados are in for a cinematic treat.

Rishab Shetty’s Rs 800 crore grosser is set to release on October 31, just over a month after its original October 2 release. The film has collected Rs 592.85 crore in India so, just a few crores short of Rs 600 crore. While it was speculated that the OTT premiere may be delayed due to the film’s stupendous success at the Box Office, Prime Video on Monday shared an official confirmation of the digital premiere of the biggest hit of 2025, on October 31.

The trailer for OTT release features a crucial scene from the film, a powerful moment when Rishab Shetty’s character and his men prepare for the battle ahead. “Get ready to witness the LEGENDary adventure of BERME (fire emoji) #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime, October 31,” the caption read.

The film can be seen in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions. However, there is no word about the Hindi version, which is expected to be available later this year.

Director Dominic Arun re-imagined a popular folktale giving Malayalam film industry its first female superhero. The idea of a girl-next-door character with a supernatural twist, terrific visuals, and a unique story telling, made the film appealing to viewers and no wonder the film minted money on box office.

The film that released on August 28, 2025, earned Rs 301.98 crore worldwide, with India net collections at Rs 155.72 crore.

Idli Kadai

The heartfelt family drama starring Dhanush in the main lead revolves around an Idli shop owned by the protagonist’s father. Murugan, a popular chef at a renowned Bangkok hotel is all set to marry his boss Vishnu Vardhan’s (Sathyaraj) daughter Meera (Shalini Pandey), but destiny has other plans for him and he soon returns to Sankarapuram to take over his father’s Idli shop and cancel his wedding. In an attempt to re-create the taste of the idlis made by his father, he tries and fails, but soon discovers the simple thing he was overlooking.

The simple story connected with the audiences well and the film has so far collected Rs 50.33 crore net in India, with worldwide gross collection reaching around Rs 71.68 crore.

Baaghi 4

According to Koimoi, the film collected Rs 67.07 crore at domestic box office, and Rs 79.14 crore
worldwide.
