Campus placements at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT, Madras) are continuing at full swing with a number of offers being made on Day 7.
The company that made the waves today was Capgemini India, which made as many as 12 offers and thereby beat back to number two Tata Consultancy Services, which made offers to 7 students, with another Tata group company, Tata Communications coming up with a lone offer on its part too.
Cummins India Limited made 5 offers, Verity Knowledge Solutions 4, ZoomRx Inc and Cybermarine Knowledge Systems made 3 each, MRF, Virtusa Consulting Services and eDreams Edusoft made 2 each.
Across the 7 days, IIT, Madras has placed 654 (556) students, number of offers has added up to 719 (617) and the total number of companies involved are 188 (151) – the figures in parentheses are from last year after same number of sessions and the overall statistics do not include MBAs.
