BJP manifesto for Haryana election 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its manifesto in Rohtak for the upcoming Haryana Assembly election 2024, making 20 big promises in its ‘Sankalp Patra’.
The manifesto promises Rs 2,100 per month for women under the Laado Lakshmi scheme and jobs for at least 2 lakh jobs unemployed youth. The party has also promised cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojna for the Haryana polls.
The BJP also promised scholarships for Haryana students from OBC and SC communities to study in any government medical or engineering college across the country.

The manifesto was released at the party office in Rohtak in the presence of BJP chief JP Nadda, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli.
While releasing the manifesto, JP Nadda said the party’s manifesto is a serious document and the “BJP has always fulfilled its promises and even achieved what was not promised during elections”.
“Haryana has changed under BJP’s leadership. In 2014, the state’s per capita income was 1.37 lakh, which has increased to 3 lakh rupees. In terms of export, Haryana export was only Rs 68,000 crore, which has gone up to Rs 2.5 lakh crore,” said Nadda.
Nadda also assured that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers will be provided on 24 varities of crops if BJP is brought to the power. He also promised that each Agniveer from Haryana will be given government jobs.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Congress announced seven guarantees, including the promises of a legal guarantee for MSP and a caste survey, if voted to power. The guarantees were announced in the presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan, former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, and AICC senior observers for the polls Ashok Gehlot, Ajay Maken and Partap Singh Bajwa.
Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly will take place on October 5 in a single phase while the counting of votes will be done on October 8.
