GMR Infra, in a regulatory disclosure filed on December 12, said that the company is planning to raise Rs 1,200 crore via the issuance of equity shares/warrants through preferential issue. , 

As per the filing, the company’s Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on December 17 to consider and approve the proposal for raising funds up to Rs 1,200 crore. The fundraising will be done via the issuance of equity shares or warrants to eligible investors through a preferential issue or any other method, subject to Board approval.

GMR Financial Result: Q2FY26

The company announced its financial performance for Q2FY26 in November. For the same quarter, the company reported a net profit of Rs 888 crore, up sharply from Rs 255 crore reported in Q2FY25.

The company’s revenue stood at Rs 1,810 crore, up nearly 31% year-on-year, while the EBITDA margin stood at 20%, down from 30% reported for the same quarter last year.
