Transrail Lighting bagged a Rs 548 crore order for engineering, procurement and construction of a power transmission line from an international client. In an exchange filing, the company said that it received the order from a client in the Middle East and North African region.

Furthermore, the company stated that in fiscal year 2026, its order book reached Rs 4,285 crore, continuing the strong growth momentum in key business sectors. The company works as the EPC player in power transmission and distribution and has operations in civil, railways and solar power and lighting segments. 

“This, along with additional orders in the Railway and Poles & Lighting businesses, reflects the growing strength of our diversified capabilities. With cumulative FY26 inflows now at more than Rs 4,285 crore and further L1 position of Rs 2,575 crore, we continue to strengthen our visibility for the coming quarters,” said Randeep Narang, MD & CEO of Transrail Lighting. 

Transrail Lighting Q2 results

Transrail Lighting reported a 65 per cent YoY profit growth in the second quarter of FY26. The company posted a consolidated profit of Rs 91 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 55 crore in Q2 FY25.

Further, the company posted 43 per cent YoY revenue growth in the quarter. Its consolidated revenue in Q2 FY26 grew to Rs 1,561 crore from Rs 1,088 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Its EBITDA increased by 34 per cent YoY to Rs 186 crores in the quarter.
