BEML has bagged order  worth Rs 110 crore from the Ministry of Defence for supply of Engines. The company in its regulatory filing noted that the order is normal course of business.

“BEML Limited has bagged order from the Ministry of Defence for supply of Engines with contract value of Rs 110 crores approximately,” the company said in its BSE filing.

BEML bags two orders worth over Rs 571 crore in December

Earlier this month, the company secured two orders.

On December 4, it said it had secured an order worth Rs 157 crore for the manufacture of Switch Rail Grinding Machines from M/s Loram Rail Maintenance India Private Limited. These machines are to be supplied to Indian Railways for track maintenance.

On December 3, the company received a work order valued at Rs 414 crore for the Bangalore Metro Rail Project, for the supply of additional trainsets for the Bangalore Metro project.

With the new order the company’s total order worth for the month of December stands at Rs 681 crore

BEML Q2FY26

In its Q2FY26 results, BEML, a defence PSU, said the company’s order book stood at Rs 16,342 crore, of which it executed orders worth Rs 794 crore during Q2FY26. It expects to execute orders worth Rs 4,217 crore in the current financial year and Rs 12,125 crore in subsequent years.

The company reported a 5.8% decline in consolidated profit to Rs 48.03 crore. Its consolidated income during the July–September period fell to Rs 846.13 crore.

BEML operates under three major business verticals: defence and aerospace, mining and construction, and rail and metro.

The share price of BEML declined 2.30% in Tuesday’s trade. The stock has declined nearly 16.99% sao far this year.
