Dishman Pharma today said it has posted consolidated net profit of Rs 26.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, mainly on account of robust sales across all verticals.

The net profit figure takes into account taxes, minority interest and share of associates, the company said.

It had posted net loss of Rs 6.33 crore for the July- September quarter last year, Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals said in a statement.

Net sales of the company stood at Rs 289.26 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 268.84 crore for the corresponding period previous fiscal.

The company operates in the area of contract research and manufacturing segment (CRAMS) as well as in bulk drugs, intermediates and speciality chemicals among others.

Dishman Pharma scrip was trading at Rs 96.60 in the afternoon trade on the BSE, down 2.03 per cent from its previous close.
