Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), said that its automotive sector has entered into a long-term wage agreement with the Bharatiya Kamgar Sena, which represents workmen of the company’s Igatpuri plant, near Nashik, Maharashtra.

The agreement will be valid for a period of three and-a-half-years, a press release stated.

On behalf of the workmen, BKS’ President, Suryakant Mahadik and General Secretary, Albert Pinto, amongst other union officials, signed the agreement.

The management of the automotive sector, M&M, was represented by Senior Vice-President, Manufacturing Operations, Vijay Dhongde, Senior General Manager, S K Kulkarni and other officials.
