After US President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran and impose secondary tariffs, the country has allegedly responded by saying that they have “loaded all launchers” in their underground missile cities and that they are all set to attack, reported The Tehran Times.

In a post on X, they claimed that the information that was gathered by the Tehran Times suggested that Iran’s missiles are loaded onto launchers across all underground missile cities and are prepared for launch. It further said that provoking in this situation, would have serious consequences for the US and its allies.

‘There will be bombing’: Trump’s threat to Iran

US President Donald Trump in a telephonic interview with NBC News, had warned that if Iran did not make a nuclear deal, “there will be bombing”. This was his first reaction since Iran refused US’ proposal for having direct negotiations last week. “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before,” Trump had said.

He also warned Tehran for imposing secondary tariffs, like he did four years ago.

Trump, in a latter to Tehran, had urged them to negotiate over the nuclear deal and finalise it. But Iran, in its response, wrote in the letter that their policy was not to engage in direct discussion with the US via pressure tactics.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian had said on Sunday that Iran has always been involved in indirect negotiations and those can still continue.

Iranian officials have shared many videos that show underground bunkers which are protected and are equipped with proper defense systems. These bunkers also store missiles like the Kheibar Shekan (900-mile range), Haj Qassem (850 miles), Ghadr-H (1,240 miles), Sejjil (1,550 miles), and Emad (1,050 miles), according to the Iran Observer.
