Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite, has drawn fresh attention after Donald Trump Jr turned his father’s White House Christmas reception into a surprise engagement party on Monday night, announcing that he’s officially off the market.

The engagement was announced at the White House on Monday, December 15, and a video of the moment was posted on X by Laura Loomer. In the clip, Trump Jr. thanked Anderson for saying “Yes”, whereas Anderson said this weekend had been unforgettable and that she felt “the luckiest girl in the world.”

As per a report by People, Anderson is a socialite and philanthropist, who is the daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr and Inger Anderson. People also reported that Anderson also supports mental health-related work through Audrey Gruss’ Hope for Depression Research Foundation. She is also involved with Project Paradise ( a Florida conservation effort). She also spends time regularly with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County.

As per reports, Trump Jr and Anderson have been together for about a year. The couple had recently travelled to Udaipur, India, for a wedding celebration. They were first spotted together in August 2024, months after Trump Jr ended his engagement to Kimberley Guilfoyle, a US television personality.

Trump Jr was earlier married to Vanessa Trump, and together they share five children. Later, he was engaged to Guilfoyle in 2020.
