India’s growth story is filled with thousands of inspiring accounts of perseverance, hard work and innovation. One such tale is the journey of Kranthi Kumar Ganta, founder of DreamAhead, a smart ecosystem for India’s education sector. Like many self-made professionals, he has worked to bridge gaps that millions of Indians continue to face.
In an interview with Startup Pedia, Kranti explained about the journey from a small village in Andhra Pradesh to building his edu-tech and counselling platform – to achieve a dream.
Humble background and college dropout
Kranthi, who drop out from college, but then also came an opportunity.
In the interview, Kranthi said that despite dropping out of college, he landed in the field of marketing, and the edtech industry as he was effortlessly able to communicate with people.
While working, he noticed that parents, children are always confused and anxious about the future. The questions were many. Despite multiple so-called job-oriented courses and degrees, young people still ended up unemployed, or worse, directionless.
“We have to give the right information to parents and students. If they get clarity, everything else falls into place,” Kranthi told Startup Pedia.
Kranthi talked about meeting students who had pursued expensive courses but yet had no guidance or skill for a job. After years in the industry, Kranthi decided he must not be the silent watcher and hence, he decided to build what he thought many lacked.
DreamAhead Learning Hub was created with a simple but powerful mission, with an initial investment of Rs 10 lakh that Kranthi made himself.
