Wedding preparations are underway in the Tendulkar family, with reports confirming that Arjun Tendulkar will marry his fiancée Saaniya Chandhok in March 2026. The wedding is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, with festivities beginning on March 3 and the main ceremony planned for March 5, according to a Times of India report.
The wedding is expected to be a private affair with a limited guest list comprising close family members, friends and select members of the cricketing fraternity. The ToI report said the celebrations will be held in Mumbai and kept low-key despite the high public profile of the Tendulkar family.
Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok were engaged on August 13, 2025, in a private ceremony attended only by immediate family members. The engagement remained largely out of the public eye until it was confirmed by Sachin Tendulkar during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session. Responding to a query from a user at the time, Sachin Tendulkar said, “Yes, he did, and we are all very excited for the new phase in his life.”
Who is Saaniya Chandhok?
Saaniya Chandhok comes from a prominent Mumbai business family. She is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group, which has interests across hospitality and food businesses, including premium hotels and consumer brands. Despite the family’s established business legacy, Chandhok has pursued an independent career.
She completed her schooling at leading Mumbai institutions, including BD Somani International School and The Cathedral & John Connon School. She graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2020 with a degree in Business Management. In 2024, she also earned a veterinary technician certification through the Worldwide Veterinary Service’s ABC programme.
In 2022, Chandhok founded Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, a Mumbai-based pet grooming and wellness company, where she serves as a designated partner and director. The venture focuses on premium grooming, skincare and wellness services for pets.
Chandhok’s net worth
While there is no official information available, reports estimated her personal net worth to be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, largely driven by her business activities.
According to reports, the family said Chandhok has known the Tendulkars for several years through family connections and shares a close friendship with Arjun Tendulkar’s sister Sara Tendulkar.
