The Indian cricket team is currently in the United States of America for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 tour. India is going to start its world cup campaign by playing a warm-up match against team Bangladesh. The match is scheduled for Saturday at the Nassau Country International Cricket Stadium in New York. Ahead of the match, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) of the Indian squad practicing rigorously at a stadium.
In the video shared by the cricket board, skipper Rohit Sharma can be seen strengthening his defense, while vice-captain Hardik Pandya is seen playing crisp shots on the leg-side. In the video, Rishabh Pant can be spotted practicing his unique shots through mid-wicket.

Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Mohammed Siraj were also seen bowling with much energy and enthusiasm. All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja were also spotted bowling in the training video.
In which group is India placed?
India, Pakistan, and hosts United States, Ireland, and Canada constitute Group A in the 20-team ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, slated to commence on June 1.
The teams will compete against each other in a single-round robin format, after which the top two teams from the group will advance to the Super Eight stage of the tournament. All Group A matches will be held exclusively in the United States of America (USA), with the West Indies serving as co-hosts of this prestigious event.
The tournament opener on June 1 will see USA and Canada facing off at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
