The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), under the IndiaAI Mission, has introduced ‘YUVA AI for ALL’, a nationwide free learning programme aimed at helping Indians—particularly students—explore the world of artificial intelligence.

The course runs for about 4.5 hours and can be completed at one’s own pace. It has been created to help school and college students, working professionals, and anyone curious about emerging technologies build a basic understanding of how these systems work and how they are shaping modern life. The lessons are easy to follow, practical, and packed with relatable, real-world Indian scenarios.

The programme is completely free and accessible through major learning platforms such as FutureSkills Prime, iGOT Karmayogi, and several well-known ed-tech sites. After completing the modules, participants will receive an official certificate issued by the Government of India

The programme is divided into six short and easy-to-follow sections that help learners:

Understand what modern intelligent systems are and the basic logic behind them
See how these technologies are reshaping classrooms, creative fields, and workplaces
Learn the right way to use digital tools with awareness, safety, and responsibility
Discover interesting real-life examples from India where such technologies are already in action
Look ahead at emerging trends and the new career paths opening up in this space

Why ‘YUVA AI for ALL’ Stands Out

It is completely free for anyone who wants to join
Participants can study whenever they choose, at a pace that suits them
A completion certificate from the Government of India is awarded
Learners gain essential skills that will be valuable in the years ahead
The initiative supports India’s broader vision of strengthening its digital capabilities

Shaping India’s Technology-Ready Generation

Through this programme, MeitY aims to equip 1 crore (10 million) people with fundamental knowledge of emerging technologies. The goal is to reduce digital inequality, promote responsible use of modern tools, and prepare India’s youth and workforce for a tech-driven future.

Schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions can collaborate with IndiaAI to help expand the reach of this course. Partner organisations can incorporate the programme into their learning systems, encourage participation, and co-brand the certificates.

The curriculum has been developed for the IndiaAI Mission by Jaspreet Bindra, a well-known author and technology specialist, and founder of AI & Beyond and Tech Whisperer Ltd. The content combines global insights with India’s realities and places strong emphasis on ethical, inclusive, and responsible use of advanced digital systems.
