Vivo V30 has silently been announced. The V29 successor brings a revamped design, more powerful 4-nanometre Qualcomm processor, and a bigger battery. It has a total of three cameras, all 50-megapixels, and the latest Android 14 software with the company’s custom Funtouch 14 on top. Vivo is yet to announce general availability and pricing but it has confirmed the Vivo V30 will be sold in 30 international markets including India.

The Vivo V30 has a design bearing stark resemblance to another Vivo phone, the Vivo S18. You will be able to get it in a choice of four colours including green and white. The screen is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED with up to 2,800 nits of peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. Biometrics are handled by an under-display fingerprint reader.
Powering the Vivo V30 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Running the show is Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
For photography, the Vivo V30 has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50-megapixel wide (OmniVision OV50E) and 50-megapixel ultrawide with autofocus while on the front, it has another 50-megapixel shooter also with autofocus.

The Vivo V29 in contrast has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, and a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The V29 is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. On the front, it has a 50MP selfie camera.
