The Redmi Note 13 has officially been launched in India. Most affordable phone in Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 series, the Redmi Note 13 brings a fast 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 6080 chip, and 108-megapixel camera at a starting price of Rs 18,999.
The new “budget” Note is landing smack in the middle of intense competition. The Poco X5 Pro is one and we have covered it extensively, already. There is also the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, that maybe an even bigger threat due to OnePlus brand name and recall.

And so, it becomes imperative to stack the phones against each other and see, where buyers are getting more value. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite for your reference is priced at Rs 19,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That’s a good Rs 2,000 more than an equivalent Redmi Note 13. While the 8GB/256GB model costs Rs 1,000 more at Rs 21,999.

Redmi Note 13, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite compared: All the differences

  1. Both phones have a flat chassis made from plastic. The Redmi Note 13 is a bit slimmer and lighter (7.6mm versus 8.3mm, 173.5 g versus 195 g) and is IP54 rated. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in both the phones.
  2. The Redmi Note 13 has a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate while the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has a 6.72-inch flat IPS LCD display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh. The Note 13’s screen can get a bit brighter (1,000 nits versus 680 nits) and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. OnePlus uses an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the Nord CE 3 Lite.
  3. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 under the hood while the Redmi Note 13 gets the Dimensity 6080.
  4. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has a triple camera setup which is a combination of 108-megapixel wide, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Redmi Note 13 has a 108MP main camera, too, but it is mated to a 2MP depth sensor.
  5. Both phones top out at 1080p @30fps video recording from the back camera.
  6. Both phones have a 16-megapixel front facing camera with 1080p @30fps video recording.
  7. You get a 5,000mAh battery in both the phones. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite can charge faster at up to 67W. The Redmi Note 13 supports only 33W.
  8. Elsewhere, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has dual speakers. The Redmi Note 13 has a mono setup only.
  9. Both offer expandable storage through a hybrid slot.
  10. The Redmi Note 13 comes in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations for Rs 18,999, 20,999, and Rs 22,999, respectively. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations for Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively.
