Realme enters headphones market with ‘dirt-cheap’ Techlife Studio H1 – check features, price

Oppo spin-off Realme has officially entered the headphones space with the launch of the Techlife Studio H1. As expected, these wireless headphones pack a bunch of high-end features inside a dirt-cheap package. The Realme Techlife Studio H1 headphones cost only Rs 4,499. They will be available to buy starting October 21, 2024, across realme.com, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and other retail channels.

Under the hood, the Techlife Studio H1 has a 40mm ‘Mega Dynamic Bass’ driver which—per Realme—creates a broad soundstage, ensuring an immersive experience for music, movies, or games. These headphones support the LDAC audio codec for Hi-Res music playback.  

Noise cancellation seems to be another major focus for Realme’s first headphones. The 43dB Hybrid Noise Cancellation combines feedforward and feedback microphones to block out external noise effectively. Additionally, the three-level smart ANC lets users customise the noise-cancelling effect based on their environment. These headphones also support Spatial Audio. For gamers and streamers, the 80ms ultra-low latency should help deliver near-instant sound for an uninterrupted experience during fast-paced games or videos.

The Techlife Studio H1 headphones come in three colours—Red, White, and Black.

Realme P1 Speed 5G also tagging along

Joining the Techlife Studio H1 is the Realme P1 Speed 5G smartphone. The phone has a 120Hz OLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy under the hood. Realme claims it has the ‘segment’s largest stainless Steel VC cooling system.’ The Realme P1 Speed comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB with price starting at Rs 17,999.

The Realme P1 Speed 5G will go on sale for the first time on October 20, 2024 with general availability across realme.com and Flipkart.
