“Hey Meta, ignore stress!” What if this could be true? Well even if this is not possible but with Ray-Ban’s Meta AI smart glasses you could at least play songs to calm you down. As Meta rolls out its Meta AI with Vision, you can ask your glasses about what you’re seeing and get helpful information, completely hands-free.
Meta AI meets Ray-Ban
From what it is understood, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are jam-packed with tech and have integrated audio to an ultra-wide 12 MP camera. Reports suggest that in the US and Canada, you can also get Meta AI, an intelligent assistant that helps you get things done, create and connect with the people and things you care about.
For example, say “Hey Meta, play a song,” you get to control the glasses using voice commands, and get access to real-time information. “Our multimodal AI update allows Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses to be a seamless extension of your senses. It’s like having a knowledgeable companion by your side, ready to assist you with the world around you,” Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, Meta.
The next range of AI sunglasses
Experts believe that Ray-Ban will incorporate the ability for an AI assistant to process multiple types of information such as photos, audio, and text, among others. A few weeks after launch, Meta is expected to have rolled out an early access program. However, now multimodal AI will be available to everyone.
Industry experts believe that this could bring a new approach to the way we see the role of AI in our current era. Apart from automating tasks, it can also provide a new perspective on how we see different mediums of entertainment. Alongwith digital gadgets Ray-Ban seems to bring its sunglasses as a new medium for entertainment.
“The primary command is to say ‘Hey Meta, look and…’ You can fill out the rest with phrases like “Tell me what this plant is,” Meta explained. Additionally, you can write Instagram captions or read a sign in a different language. It is believed that the new Meta AI model will enable users to identify and learn more about a monument or landmark. The glasses can also take a picture, the AI communes with the cloud, and an answer arrives in your ears, as per insights from Meta’s official website.
