While the Internet may be divided on reviews, several opinions align perfectly about the Stranger Things Season 5 finale. Fans adored the epilogue and the plot it explored. In fact, some felt that nothing apart from the epilogue stood out for them.

Jamie Campbell Bower is one of the highest-paid actors in the Stranger Things franchise. Known to have played four characters, he plays Henry, 001, Mr Whatsit, and the iconic villain Vecna. "He carried the entire season," shared a fan on X.

While this angered several fans, they called out the 'woke' ending during Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2, as well.

As fans on social media unite to call Stranger Things Season 5 an 'unnecessary sequel', IMDb reviews echo the sentiment. "Great ending to a slightly forgettable season," wrote a user.

"Almost everyone ends up in a place that makes sense for them and their arcs feel complete...The big emotional scenes hit HARD, and the music is incredible. The soundtrack does a lot of the heavy lifting," they added.

The entire Stranger Things franchise, created by the Duffer Brothers, injected $1 billion into the US economy. In fact, filmed in Georgia, it only boosted tourism, but overall, it generated 8000 jobs during its decade-long production process.
