In a dramatic return to the Indian smartphone market, Honor has unveiled its flagship, the Magic 6 Pro. This premium device marks a significant departure from the brand’s previous focus on budget-friendly offerings, signalling a bold ambition to compete with established players in the high-end segment like Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus and more.

Honor’s journey in India has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. Once a dominant force in the budget smartphone market, the company was caught in the crossfire of the India-China geopolitical tensions which led to its forced exit from the country in 2020. The HONOR Magic 6 Pro 5G boasts the next-generation AI Falcon camera system including a 50MP main camera, a 180MP Periscope Telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide and macro camera, along with a 50MP front camera designed.

The Magic 6 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch All-range low-power LTPO display with HONOR NanoCrystal Shield on top for protection. It is backed by a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports rapid charging and extended use in low temperatures. The HONOR Magic 6 Pro 5G runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.  Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the performance and connectivity is taken care by HONOR C1+ chip.

The HONOR Magic6 Pro 5G comes in two colours: Epi Green and Black. It comes in a single storage option of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. Priced at Rs 89,999, the sales start on August 15 at midnight (12:00 AM) and will be available on Amazon.in, the brand’s official website, explorehonor.com, and major retail stores.
