Google has officially launched the Pixel 10 series globally, replacing the Pixel 9 as its flagship smartphone offering. The new devices, which were unveiled prior to the Made by Google event, bring a host of upgrades and new AI features to make the deal more tempting for premium smartphone buyers. While the star of the show is the new Tensor G5 chipset, Google has made enough changes to these phones to justify the premium pricing.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Display:

The Pixel 10 smartphone is equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD AMOLED display with HDR 10 support, while the 10 Pro has the same 6.3 display size too. Additionally, the devices have 3300 nits of peak brightness in outdoor conditions. Add to it the 120 Hz refresh rate that is variable, meaning changing from 1-120 based on usage. The smartphones have 1.5K OLED display with Google offering thinner bezels and a better screen-to-body ratio than last generation devices.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Processor:

Google’s new Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro have the in-house developed Tensor G-5, which is fabricated on TSMC’s 3nm fabrication process. The processor has 8 cores, which breaks down into 1 high-performance core and 5 performance cores. Additionally, it has 2 efficiency cores. The smartphone offers 16 GB RAM option and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. Interestingly, Google says it will have the Titan M2 chipset for enhanced security and AI tasks.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Cameras:

The camera module in the Pixel has not changed much. The classic horizontal camera setup that is associated with the phone’s identity got upgraded a bit and got a little thinner. The cameras include three sensors a 50MP Primary sensor along with a 48MP Ultrawide sensor, a 48MP telephoto sensor, a flash, and a 48MP sensor in the front camera. The ultrawide sensor can provide 10x and 5X Optical zoom.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Battery:

The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro could have a better battery backup, which was a big issue in the previous generation Pixel devices. The Pixel 10 has a 3970mAh battery and 30W wired charging. The device have efficient battery and 10 wireless charging. While the Pixel 10 Pro has the 4,870 mAh battery and 30W wired charging support. It comes with Pixelsnap wireless charging (Qi2 certified) up to 15W.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro India price:

The Pixel 10 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,09,999, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL begins at Rs. 1,24,999, both for the 256GB base variant. Buyers can avail Rs. 10,000 instant cashback on select bank cards, along with an exchange benefit of up to Rs. 5,000. Additionally, no-cost EMI options are available, offering savings of up to Rs. 17,137.
