Salamanca, Spain
Salamanca offers the perfect stage for heritage and modernity. Known for its golden sandstone architecture, the city becomes a thrilling shooting location for War 2’s elaborate chase sequence. The cameras captured the stunning Plaza de Anaya, with its stunning buildings and greens that served as the backdrop for a chase. It’s European elegance meets Bollywood’s energy.
Italy
For the love sequences, Italy was the love letter on screen. The romantic number ‘Aavan Jaavan travels through Rome’s dramatic corridors, from the Colosseum’s timeless arches to the iconic Spanish Steps and the dreamy Trevi Fountain. Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani glide across the city on a vintage bike as the lens drifts away from the bustle into Tuscany’s peace, where vineyards and rolling hills served as the perfect backdrop.
Abu Dhabi
No globe-trotting action saga would be complete without the touch of Middle Eastern luxe. Abu Dhabi serves as the sleek backdrop for a high-octane boat chase in the movie. But the grandeur doesn’t end here; War 2 also captures sweeping shots of the Yas Marina Circuit, giving motorsport fans a visual treat. From the roar of engines to the city skylines, Abu Dhabi’s landscape is the main character in the action movie.
Mumbai
Even with its international shooting locations, a significant portion of War 2 was shot in Mumbai. From the chaos of Andheri, where gritty street action scenes take place, to a daring aerial stunt over Vile Parle, Mumbai served as the backdrop for all the action. In fact, Jr NTR’s introduction was filmed at Infiniti Mall, Malad.
