After delivering back-to-back blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, winning his first National Award, and entering the billionaire club, Shah Rukh Khan is on a roll. The success of son Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds of Bollywood has been a cherry on the top.
Treating his fans with a fun #AskSRK session ahead of his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan answered multiple queries on his upcoming film King wherein he will be working alongside Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukherjee.
While fans have been awaiting the first look teaser of King on his birthday on November 2, the actor’s reply suggests otherwise.
When a fan jokingly asked Shah Rukh to DM them King teaser, the actor said: “Abhi Title toh announce kiya nahi officially….tum Teaser par kaise pahunch gaye!!!”
This gives fans some answers and saves them from the disappointment of the film’s teaser not releasing on the actor’s birthday.
What will SRK’s King character be like?
Meanwhile, a fan asked the superstar to give some hint about his King character and the actor looped in the film’s director Siddharth Anand.
“Sir, aapki agli film ke liye super excited hain! Koi ek word hint dijiye ki next character kaisa hoga? Love you! @iamsrk,” a fan asked on X, “Hmmmm @justSidAnand sun rahe ho bhai. Bol doon…?” replied SRK.
Anand gave a cryptic reply: “You know what they say sir — a King arrives when he wants to, not when he’s supposed to.
“You have become more and more like me. Giving cryptic answers to straightforward questions. Theek hai Boss, as and when…whatever… and whenever u want to. Fans!!! Go after him….Humla!!! At least the Title reveal….just that much please,” Shah Rukh added jokingly.
When is King expected to release
Directed by Siddharth Anand, and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Raghav Juyal, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukherjee, and Anil Kapoor among others, King is rumoured to be hitting the theatres around Diwali 2026.
