The trailer of Vipul Shah produced Force 2 was released on Thursday. The film that is a sequel to the 2011 hit Force starring John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza, from its trailer looks exactly like majority of John’s other flicks.
Blazing gun fires, on the edge action and a stone faced John- that is what the trailer promises. Just like his last release Dishoom, John is seen in a tough no-nonsense Mumbai cop avatar, so similar that it’ll make you cringe! The only difference is this time on the receiving end of his swag will be a sullen Sonakshi Sinha and not Varun Dhawan’s jovial Junaid Ansari!
Sonakshi, who seems to be enjoying the new found love for action genre after her last Akira is seen as a RAW officer talking discipline to John. The new bad guy on the block Tahir, who walked away with all the accolades for his role in Mardaani looks promising and fresh with his lean physique and menacing eyes as he makes the lead pair run to his tunes.

The film that is an ode to the unsung heroes will see John and Sonakshi coming together for the first time along with Mardaani fame Tahir Raj Bhasin. The backdrop of the film runs about India’s RAW agents and how Tahir’s character vows to destroy them all.
For the action lovers, the film looks promising with some much nail biting action and chase sequences, plot wise Force 2 looks like stale curry though let’s not drop our hopes too soon.
