Yash’s Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups teaser is out and the almost three-minute clip is full of gangster vibes, raising expectations from the Rs 300 crore-budget movie, one of the most expensive ones ever produced in Kannada film industry. The first look posters of Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, have already built on anticipation for the Eid release, set to clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.
Now the new teaser of the film introduces the protagonist of Toxic, Raya, played by actor Yash, on the occasion of actor’s 40th birthday.
Film’s production house KVN Productions took to social media to share the action-pack clip on social media and wrote, “Get a good look at your danger – Introducing RAYA. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in cinemas worldwide on 19-03-2026.”
Check out the teaser
This is the second teaser of the movie after a small version of it released last year on Yash’s 39th birthday which showed his menacing look stepping out of the car and smoking a cigar.
The makers have also confirmed the film’s clash with Dhurandhar 2 on March 19, confirming its Eid release.
The Happy Birthday teaser’s unpredictable vibe
The trailer opens with a dark vibe in the middle of a funeral where a family is leaving the cemetery. The quiet of the moment is broken by arrival of a car where visuals of Yash getting intimate with a woman at the back of the car play out even as guns are fired and bombs take off outside it. The Happy Birthday teaser then moves to Yash’s character Raya stepping out of the car smoking a cigar and saying – Daddy’s Home. Can it get any ‘toxic’ than this?
How the netizens are reacting
Yash’s two-word dialogue – ‘Daddy’s Home’ has the netizens swooning. “They weren’t kidding when they said fairy tale for grown ups,” a social media user wrote.
“‘The world is my territory’, bro took this dialogue seriously🥵,” another chimed in. “Typical South movie in which bullets never hurts hero,” a comment read.
A netizen loved the fact that Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 has a solid competition now. “Clashing with Dhurandhar 2…nice.” “Rip dhurandhar..Daddy is coming,” another user wrote.
