Silver screen darling ‘They Call Him OG’ directed by Sujeeth and starring Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan and Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi (in his Telugu film debut) has made some pretty hefty collections at the Box Office. Released worldwide on Thursday, September 25 2025, in a score of languages, the film raked in a massive Rs 63.75 crores on opening day and has since made over Rs 183 crores overall, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

They Call Him OG Day 11 collections

Though it received mixed reviews, Pawan Kalyan’s cult-like following and reverent fanbase pulled in enormous numbers to the theatres. His status along with the action-packed performance ensured the opening day was a hit. Now, on Day 11 of the release, the numbers are looking a bit different. As per Sacnilk, the Day 11 earnings for They Call Him OG was Rs 4.35 crores according to rough estimates. The movie saw a noticeable 70% dip on the second day itself with numbers falling to Rs 18.45 crores and collections staying consistent. Ultimately, the movie earned Rs 169.3 crores at the end of Week 1.

Week 2’s earnings have remained constant; the movie has stayed in the bracket of Rs 4 crores, which in all honesty is fairly decent considering that it is battling out the Box Office with heavy hitters like Rishab Shetty’s “Kantara: Chapter 1” which has broken several records with its colossal earnings and others like Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Idli Kadai. Overseas, the movie has collected Rs 64.6 crores bringing worldwide collection estimations to over Rs 270 crores. It was made on a budget of Rs 200-250 crores, so it has at least earned its budget back but, whether it can be declared a smash hit remains to be seen.

Telugu movie-goers dominated theatre occupancy

On Day 11, They Call Him OG had the most screenings in Hyderabad with 453 shows, followed by 127 shows in Vizag-Visakhapatnam and 81 shows in Bengaluru. As per Sacnilk, there was an overall 39.39% Telugu occupancy on Sunday Oct 5, 2025. Hyderabad had an overall occupancy of 30%, while Vizag-Visakhapatnam had 59.25% and Bengaluru had 33.75%.

This Pawan Kalyan-starrer also features a very talented and star-studded cast comprising Emraan Hashmi, Prakash Raj, Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Abhimanyu Singh, Arjun Das, Sudev Nair and Harish Uthaman. The movie’s plot heavily draws on mafia influences and was given the ‘A’ certification by the CBFC on account of it being heavily graphic and violent. OTT platform Netflix has acquired the rights for digital distribution so fans can watch it from the comfort of their homes once the movie departs theatres. Overall, the movie has done well but further days at the box office will allow people to view the complete picture.
