Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently appeared on Kapil Sharma’s talk show on Netflix, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Marking the debut for Season 4, she lit up the Internet with her viral performance alongside Sunil Grover. With beats being so addictive, the song stayed with the Internet, and seemingly so with her husband and pop icon Nick Jonas. Sharing a small clip on social media, he was seen vibing to the song ‘Slowly Slowly’.
Captioning the post ‘my brain every five seconds’, he left the Internet in splits as he enjoyed Priyanka Chopra’s goofy energy. During the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4, PC and Grover dropped a banger, and they did it in jackets with bright red frills. The duo ‘slowly’ took over the Internet with the catchy song.
Popularised by the paparazzi, Nick Jonas is lovingly called ‘Nick Jiju’ [sister’s husband] on the Indian side of social media. In awe of the dynamic the couple often shows online, users couldn’t help but cheer the Jonas brother on. Reportedly on a vacation together, Priyanka Chopra seemed to look at Jonas in a non-chalant way as he played her song from the Kapil Sharma show, yet again.
‘You win our hearts everyday’
Rushing to the comment section under the post, a user wrote, “Stop. We are already in your team jiju how can you win our hearts everyday,” while others called it the ‘PC Effect’
This follows another viral video of Nick Jonas hopping on the Dhurandhar fire. The Jonas Brothers, Nick, Joe, and Kevin, shared a video of themselves on social media dancing and grooving to the viral FA9LA soundtrack from Ranveer Singh’s superhit Dhurandhar. As the artist behind the sound is rumoured to come to India, fans are excited to see the Jonas Brothers’ actively engaging with Bollywood and Indian subcultures.
Several fans on social media claimed that they had found their “fav version of this reel ofc from our fav jiju.” Another netizen felt that this was the “validation this song needed,” from a viral pop artist like Nick Jonas himself. “Knew this was coming slowly, slowly…new hype song unlocked,” wrote another user.
